Players

As I looked through the pictures on my phone to see what we've been up to (since I haven't blogged much lately), I was reminded of how much we like to play games.  H in particular is always up for a good game. Since we got out the Uno cards for Zelly's birthday, he's been obsessed with Uno, which he just may play better wearing swim goggles. And take a look at that last pic. Can you guess who won the Qwirkle game?
Zelly's not sure about being bacon or having something on her head.

A Dull Girl

That's me these days: the consequence of all work and no play. I started teaching online again this semester at BYU-Idaho and, as a result, I feel like all I do is work--work around the house, work on the computer, repeated ad nauseum.

Thankfully, I got a break from the dull girl I'm turning into when we went back to Arizona last week to visit family, friends, and the new Gilbert temple. It was such a nice vacation--perfect company, perfect food, perfect weather. We just needed 1-2 more days so I didn't feel so rushed. In fact, some days we spent driving kids to one friend's house, picking them up a few hours later to take them to another friend's house, etc. etc. I was reminded of how many good people we had the privilege of knowing when we lived there.
