We headed south to St. George for spring break--I was ready for a little vacation with just our little family. Zelly also could not wait. She carried her bag and sunglasses around the entire day before we left.
We rented a little condo with 1 bedroom and a pull-out couch
and with 2 swimming pools. The first evening we got there, it was a little chilly for Zelly, who could NOT wait to get into her swimming suit.
But it definitely warmed up.
We ate and ate. Way too much. Zelly was a fan of the fry sauce at The Habit and the hats at Firehouse.
And we hiked too. We hiked the rocks above Dixie Rock one morning while J was golfing.
and then hit the splash pad downtown.
The next day all of us hiked. We wanted to try out a state park, but we kind of got lost. We ended up finding a portion of it and went on the only hiking trail we could find. It was actually really pretty and only generated minimal complaining.
It was a short trip, but was actually a perfect amount of time to get away without getting on each others' nerves.
